“It is obvious that all weapons production facilities, especially if these weapons are used against us, will become the focus of special attention of our troops,” Peskov told Sputnik.
The spokesman added that similar facilities in Ukraine will not contribute to reducing tensions or settling the conflict.
Neither can “the predetermined success and completion of the special military operation” of Russia be undermined, he stressed.
Russia has been conducting a special military operation in eastern Ukraine since February 24, 2022.
President Vladimir Putin stated that it aims to protect the population from “Kyiv’s genocide.”
