The exhibition takes place on the occasion of Cuba’s candidacy for the 2023-2024 UN Human Rights Council re-election. It includes posters, photos and paintings showing some of Cuba’s main achievements in support of those fundamental guarantees.
Among other milestones, the exhibition praises the approval of the new Cuban Constitution, ratified in a popular referendum in 2019; the rates of equality and empowerment of women and priority attention to children and adolescents.
The exhibition will be officially presented on September 5 at the United Nations headquarters with the participation of diplomatic representatives and experts.
