“On August 30th, the activities of a Ukrainian terrorist and sabotage group, consisting of regular employees of the Security Service of Ukraine, personnel of the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Special Operations Service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, were discovered”, the FSB reported.

Two members of the group were killed, three were wounded and five were arrested during the operation in the Navelski district.

In addition, the FSB seized US-made weapons outfitted with suppressors, explosive devices, and night vision devices.

The saboteurs were planning a series of terrorist attacks against military and energy facilities in Russia.
