‘As Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan are preparing for their upcoming meeting, we can review in details the issues that have been raised for their meeting,’ Lavrov said during talks with Fidan, the Sputnik news agency reported on Thursday.
According to the head of Russian diplomacy, a rich dialogue was established between Moscow and Ankara on bilateral, regional and international agendas.
He pointed out that his meeting with Fidan will make it possible to prepare good recommendations for the consideration of the heads of State.
Last Monday, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that a meeting between Putin and Erdogan will take place soon, noting that the dates will be announced at an appropriate time.
The spokesman for the president of Türkiye’s Justice and Development Party, Omer Celik, stated, in turn, that Erdogan will visit Sochi in the near future to discuss the cereal deal.
The Haberturk channel reported that the negotiations between the two heads of State will take place next Monday.
