Organized by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the meeting scheduled for October 14-15 will address topics such as next-generation learning and fundamental AI models, applications in healthcare, governance and next-generation electric vehicles.
Future research trends, computer systems, investment opportunities and nurturing talent in this technology will also be discussed.
India’s Minister of State for Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Electronics and Information Technology, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, emphasized that the government’s vision is to bring together the brightest minds to deliberate on the future of AI and its impact on various sectors.
The conference will also serve as a showcase for India’s advancements in the technology.
The Asian nation already has projects such as the India Datasets and IndiaAI Future design programs for startups, and IndiaAI FutureSkills dedicated to nurturing talent.
Chandrasekhar noted the critical role of working groups that work closely with industry, start-ups and academic partners.
