This morning, official data published by PNC indicated that August 29th ended with zero victims in the whole country to reach 168 so far this year with that distinction that in the years of the current government the total number reached to 438, of which 324 occurred under the exception regime.
The daily homicide rate with the state of exception in El Salvador, that is in 17 months, is 0.55 per 100,000 people, according to the Minister of Defense, who assured that they compete with Canada to be the safest country in the Americas.
