The audience enjoyed the excellent performances of Cuban bands Muñequitos de Matanzas, Elito Revé y su Charangón, Maykel Blanco y su Salsa Mayor, and Los 4, and Colombian singer Yuri Buenaventura, among others.
For the fourth consecutive day, Josone Park in the seaside resort of Varadero hosted the Festival’s performances and brought together different musical genres and alliances between performers of different generations.
Sauto Theater, a National Monument, hosted performances during the event’s first three days. Josone Park was the epicenter of the Festival from Thursday evening to dawn today. Musicians, journalists, and the public in general described it as a success.
The Ministry of Culture, the Cuban Institute of Music, the Cuban Music Recording and Publishing Company, and maestro Issac Delgado, director of the Festival, supported and promoted the event.
