Officials, officers, and soldiers from the Korean People’s Army, workers, and schoolchildren paid tribute to Kim Jong-il and Kim Il-sung in front of their statues and portraits on several sites nationwide.
Social institutions, ministries, leading bodies, KPA units and Public Security Forces, institutions, enterprises, and other stockholders in this capital also laid flower baskets next to the monuments of the two leaders on behalf of the Party and the Armed Forces.
The ceremonies were also held at Kim Il-sung University, the Ministry of National Defense, and other places in Pyongyang.
