In this regard, the expert said in his Facebook account that consolidating as a preferred destination for Latin American travelers is one of the objectives of the tourism promotion campaign Cuba Única, which highlights the cultural, historical and natural attributes of the island.
This was stated by Janet Ayala, director of the Tourism Office for the Southern Cone, who visited Chile to present the advantages and novelties of the Cuban product to operators in the sector.
The campaign Cuba Única has the slogan The people are the best ambassador and seeks to show the diversity and richness of Cuba’s tourist offer, which goes beyond its famous beaches.
The official highlighted that as of October 29, Chilean airline LATAM Airlines will resume its Santiago-Lima-Havana route with four weekly frequencies, which will facilitate connectivity with the local market and the issuance of visitors to the island from the southern cone.
