Local media reported that five air raids targeted the command headquarters of the so-called “Talha Brigade,” which operates under the protection of the Front for the Conquest of Syria, formerly Al-Nousra Front, a group listed as an international terrorist organization.
They added that at least five gunmen were killed in the bombing and nine were injured, and the figure could rise.
Last Saturday, overnight bombings by Syrian and Russian fighter-bombers destroyed several strongholds of the terrorist groups, and more than 13 extremists were annihilated in the same governorate of Idlib.
On Sunday, the Syrian Defense Ministry announced the downing of three unmanned aerial vehicles loaded with shells and explosives, launched by extremists from Idlib.
Terrorist groups have increased their actions in recent months from Idlib against residential areas under the Syrian Government’s control.
