He insisted that the books will be distributed, all of them are already printed, and when the new school year begins in the next few days, the free textbooks will be available in the schools, he reiterated.

Everything they do is politicking and they will continue to do so because, although there are no elements, no proof, that these textbooks are conceived for ideological purposes (communism) they use all these lies to deceive even though the people are well aware of who they are and it does not work for them, he assured.

They do not pay attention to the fact that not all families have the economic possibility to buy so many books, that they cannot have money for that, but they do not care, and they increase their lies, he added.

But the State is obliged to do everything for education, which is not a privilege but a right.

This burning of books in Chiapas shows that they have very reactionary practices, they are classist, racist, and to prove it he showed a video -since the National Electoral Institute forbids him to talk about such things- of the conservative intellectual Guillermo Sheridan, of the National Action Party and of the intellectuals who write the right-wing magazine Letras Libres.

In the Sheridan video he says that if it were not for the existence of Chiapas, Oaxaca and Guerrero, Mexico would be a middle power. I do not believe in greatness. Mexicans are ignorant, violent, foolish, fanatical, corrupt, thieves, abusive, capricious, corny, temperamental, alcoholic.

He screened a second video of former President Vicente Fox defending the Frente Amplio candidate Xochitl Galvez in which he says that with her as president ‘the bastards and assholes’ of the south have to work.

Finally, a third video of the PAN candidate in which she assures that the people of the north cannot be compared with those of the south because the latter are different, have a different culture and are not used to working eight hours a day.

Lopez Obrador warned that they want to erase the south, Chiapas, Oaxaca, Guerrero, Tabasco, which are fundamental states for the development of Mexico in all senses.

He reiterated his criteria that Oaxaca is one of the most culturally rich states, but the conservatives do not recognize this because, although they are intellectuals, they have a great ignorance of the history and the great ancestral culture of Mexico, and we are talking about great figures such as Sheridan, he said.

He reminded Xochitl, without mentioning her, that Chiapas -which according to her cannot be compared to the north- is the one that has reduced poverty the most, 10 percent, in just four years, from 2018 to 2022, which shows that they work more than eight hours a day.
