The Sunday Observer, News First, Adaderana and Lanka news web reproduced the Prensa Latina news agency’s report on the delivery by the Cuban ambassador, Andres Marcelo Gonzalez, to the Sri Lankan leader of the message with the warm invitation to the great meeting, which will take place on September 15 and 16.
The G77 plus China Summit convened by Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel, in his capacity as president pro tempore of the group, will enable working together for the unity and decisive actions of the countries of the South, in order to face present and future challenges, recently ratified Cuba’s Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez.
During the meeting, consensus will be sought on various issues aimed at a new international economic order, one of its founding objectives, the Foreign Minister said.
Participants will discuss current development challenges centered on the role of science, technology and innovation, and how scientific and technical advances are inaccessible to a large part of humanity.
