As reported by the Ministry on Telegram, the patrol vessels Pitlivy and Vasili Bykov employed their onboard weaponry to destroy the drone as it tried to attack them.
The report specifies that both ships were controlling navigation in the Black Sea, some 237 kilometers southwest of Sevastopol, the main base of the Black Sea Fleet.
Moscow stated that once the adversary was destroyed, both ships continued carrying out their assigned task.
On August 4th, Russian ships repelled another attack by two Ukrainian unmanned boats against the Novorossiysk naval base, also in the Black Sea.
