Nastia Valdes, delegate of the Ministry of Tourism told on Friday the press that hosting coming events such as the Varadero Josone Festival, Rumba, Jazz & Son, the Varadero Gourmet International Festival and the Gran Retto Open Water event will prove to be positive undoubtedly for attaching visitors.
Currently, flights from 13 airlines arrive at Varadero’s Juan Gualberto Gomez International Airport, and there are an average of 25,000 tourists per day staying at the resort city’s facilities, including 6,000 nationals, figures that show how positive the summer has been so far in terms of tourist arrivals, Valdes said.
