In an interview with Prensa Latina, Mariela Gallardo, director general of Icidca, also informed that they are seeking to contribute to the fulfilment of Law 148 on Food Sovereignty and Food and Nutritional Security (SAN).
In this way, she added, they also work in leading to the realization of the principles and strategic axes of the Economic and Social Development Plan until 2030 (PNDES 2030).
The goals set, the director said, focus on increasing the use of bioproducts in Cuban agriculture, dissemination, promotion and support to producers, demonstrating by these productive means, linkages and integration between science and business.
Icidca (belonging to Grupo Empresarial Azucarero Azcuba), has a wide variety of bioproducts registered and introduced in the market, Gallardo explained.
