According to Xinhua news agency, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East will use the fund to support education for Palestine refugee children in the Gaza Strip.

Zeng Jixin, head of the Office of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Palestine, praised the agency’s work and reaffirmed China’s commitment to the cause.

“China is ready to work with the international community and make positive contributions to achieve a comprehensive, just, and lasting solution to the Palestinian problems and achieve lasting peace, security, and prosperity in the Middle East,” Zeng stated.
