Russian Defense signs millionaire agreements in Army 2023 Forum

Moscow, Oct 16 (Prensa Latina) The Russian Defense Ministry concluded contracts for more than 400 billion rubles (about 4.1 billion dollars), the head of Armaments of the Russian Army, Anatoly Guliaev, said.

This Wednesday we signed 11 state contracts and delivered another nine to the signatory companies, by virtue of which the Armed Forces will receive more than 2,500 new models of armaments, military and special equipment, as well as 1.8 million weapons of destruction, Guliaev said.

The lieutenant general noted that, in particular, the Ministry concluded contracts for the production and delivery of new R-177M command and control vehicles, MI-8AMTSH-B “Terminator” helicopters, surface-to-air missiles, and 9M723-1K5 guided missiles for the Iskander mobile ballistic missile system.

The ninth edition of the Army 2023 international military technical forum is being held from August 14 to 20 in Kubinka, a suburb of Moscow.
