The Kronshtadt company, manufacturer of the drone, noted that the Sirius is a modernized version of the Orion drone, and unlike the latter, it has two engines and a higher takeoff weight.
The Sirius heavy reconnaissance and attack drones will be capable of carrying bombs and guided and unguided missiles. Its maritime version will be able to conduct search and rescue and reconnaissance operations.
The Defense Ministry reported at the Army 2023 forum that the serial delivery of the drone to Russian troops is scheduled before the end of the year year.
