Putin addressed his message to President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and stressed that this is undoubtedly in the fundamental interests of the peoples of Russia and India, and is in line with consolidating security and stability in the world.

“The achievements made by your country in the economic, scientific, technological, social and other fields are universally acknowledged. India enjoys a well-deserved influence in the world arena and plays an important constructive role in international affairs,” Putin added.

The Russian head of State also wished the President and Prime Minister of India good health and success, and happiness and well-being for all Indian citizens.
