“We´ve been firm supporters of the multipolar world order based on the priority of the norms and principles of international law, sovereignty and equality of states, creative cooperation and trust,” the Russian leader said at the Moscow-based event, the Kremlin noted.

For Putin, open discussions on this issue become very important, in the context of the formation of a multipolar world.

“Representatives of defense ministries, diplomats and experts met again in Moscow to discuss the issues on the global and regional agenda,” Putin stressed.

According to the president, the multipolar world is steadily forming today, and most states are ready to defend their sovereignty and national interests, traditions, culture and their way of life.
