The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates denounced in a statement the latest incursion this morning in the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp, near the city of Jericho, where two citizens, including a minor, were killed.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that Qusai al-Walaji, 16, and Mohammad Nujoom, 25, were killed by the Israeli military during a new attack on the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp.
The Foreign Ministry affirmed that this is a new “war crime against humanity,” and criticized the “extrajudicial executions committed by the occupying forces against our people. (…) We hold the Israeli Government directly responsible for these crimes,” the Ministry said.
The Ministry called on the International Criminal Court to “break its silence, assume its responsibilities and comply with its obligations in the face of attacks” by Israel.
The raid came hours after Egypt, Palestine and Jordan called for an end to Israel’s occupation of the West Bank.
