During the 19th bilateral meeting at the corps commanders’ level held on August 13-14, both sides reached to continue the momentum of talks and negotiations through military and diplomatic channels.
At the meeting, which took place at the Chushul-Moldo border meeting point on the Indian side, the representatives established a positive, constructive and in-depth discussion on solving the remaining issues along the Line of Actual Control in the Western Sector.
In accordance with the guidance provided by the governments of both nations, participants exchanged standpoints in an open and forward-looking manner, the official text noted.
Recently, Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar spoke with China’s new Foreign Minister Wang Yi on this issue and bilateral ties, according to Indian media.
