The president of the artistic event, musician Issac Delgado, told the media that the traditional venue of the Josone Park located in the seaside city of Varadero will be joined by the Sauto Theater, a National Monument, to celebrate the 330th anniversary of the founding of the city of San Carlos and San Severino de Matanzas and the 160th anniversary of the Sauto Theater.
The presence of different genres among them trova, rumba, son, and even urban music will be appreciated in the opening ceremony that will gather musicians such as the Muñequitos de Matanzas, the Failde and Aragon orchestras, Alexander Abreu and Havana D’ Primera, Alex Duvall, Divan, among others, Delgado said.
The care of the Josone Park in accordance with environmental principles and the support of institutions such as the Ministries of Culture and Tourism and the different hotel chains in charge of the lodging of those involved in the Festival stand out among the logistical tasks in pursuit of the success of the event.
