With 36.84 percent of support (1,852,838 votes), Kicillof was ahead of Carolina Píparo, from La Libertad Avanza (Liberty Advances), a group which registered 24.03 points.
In third place was Néstor Grindetti (16 percent), from Juntos por el Cambio (Together for Change, JxC), who surpassed Diego Santilli (16) within his alliance.
However, if the votes won by the coalitions are added up, JxC would climb to the second position.
