The organization, founded in 1995 to support Cuba’s socioeconomic development, highlighted the initiative’s objectives, which will benefit the Vilma Espin school in the Cuban central region.

Thanks to the project, the school will receive materials, equipment, and furniture to promote the social integration of children and train family members.

The project will cost 85,000 euros, 40,000 euros of which will come from the Air France Foundation, 20,000 euros from French Aid, 20,000 euros from the Fraternal Metallurgic Association in France, and 5,000 euros from CubaCoop.

CubaCoop and Cienfuegos province have worked together for 17 years. They intend to reach two decades of partnership in 2026 with an intense agenda of decentralized cooperation.
