Following the clashes, the troops recovered 18 Ak-47 assault rifles, 12 motorcycles and other means from their enemies, the Armed Forces Public Relations Directorate said in a press release.
The source informed that during the military operation, six soldiers were killed and four were injured.
The national army and allied militias have stepped up their offensive in northern and central Mali in recent months against the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara grouping, and entities affiliated to the ISIS, considered terrorist.
