Kim Sung, a Korean expert on international affairs, said in an article published by KCNA that the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) should act with caution in the face of the Chinese people’s firm determination, will, desire, and ability on the issue of Taiwan’s reunification.
Kim pointed out that the recent visit by Taro Aso, vice president of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan, to Taiwan has also become an issue of discussion when the US military aid concerns the international community.
He criticized that at a recent forum on this territory, the Japanese representative said that it would be a deterrent to communicate to the stakeholders a willingness to use in case of emergency the defense potential of the United States and Japan to defend Taiwan.
The analyst stressed that after these statements, there is no justification for Tokyo’s behavior, which incites Taiwanese separatists to seek independence, which is an open interference in Beijing’s internal affairs.
