Among UNGA´s major challenges is to “change the path to a more sustainable direction and prevent the end of the planet,” Korosi stated.
On Friday, Korosi reminded that the speed of change today is much more dangerous than in the past, so the celebration urges this year to prioritize sustainable transformation with the issue ¨Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World¨.
UNGA´s president reaffirmed his organization´s support for the new generations and the pressing need to support them from Governments.
In this regard, he called on world leaders to use science on sustainable development.
“We need to change our habits,” he stressed.
