The disposition was grounded in the constitutional and legal regulations to provide this legal cooperation and to take measures of rapid response to any punishable act, added the Attorney General Emiliano Rolon.

Rolon argued that agents of the Public Prosecutor’s Office will provide coverage to the swearing-in of the president-elect at the Government Palace, the Te Deum at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Our Lady of Asuncion and the military parade on Mariscal Lopez Avenue.

The team will be led by Deputy Prosecutor Patricia Rivarola and made up by agents Sandra Ledesma, Fatima Capurro and Angel Ramirez, from the Specialized Unit of Security and Citizen Coexistence.
