According to the program, President Xiomara Castro is expected to inaugurate the event, which will be held from August 11 to 13, and will consist of four panels and various work tables. Nearly 150 delegates, who will condemn the blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba, will participate in the event.

Hero of the Republic of Cuba Ramón Labañino, current vice president of the Cuban National Association of Economists and Accountants, is attending the meeting, and will chair the debates on collaborative projects and actions to counter the US blockade.

One of the panels of the meeting will be dedicated to Cuba as a territory of peace against the interference of the United States.

In addition, homage will be paid to Fidel Castro on his 97th birthday, and the current situation in the region in the anti-imperialist struggle will be addressed.

The meeting will end with a final declaration, to be approved at a plenary session, and a tribute to Fidel Castro will be held at the Latin American and Caribbean Youth Festival in Plaza Cuba, in this capital.
