The encounter, organized by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), gathered graduates in Medicine, Economics, Physical Culture, Psychology, Social Communication and several branches of engineering who recalled their experiences in Cuba.
Representatives from Uganda, Burkina Faso, Sao Tome and Principe, Nigeria, Gabon, South Africa, Djibouti, Rwanda, Cape Verde and Ethiopia expressed how the training received can now be applied in their countries of origin, because “Cuba trains you for the battle of life and ideas.”
In view of the approaching commemoration of Fidel’s 97th birth anniversary, participants underscored their solidarity, sisterhood and ties that unite them with Cuba, a nation they consider their second home and promise to always return to.
