Lukashenko, who met with Brazilian Ambassador to Belarus Bernard de Garcia reiterated that any time would be good for Lula’s visit, but ideally in the winter to enjoy the nature of the European nation in that season of the year, BelTA news agency reported.
The Belarusian head of State expects that during the visit, the two leaders will determine a plan for cooperation between their countries which, in his opinion, can be improved in both the political and economic-commercial spheres.
According to the information, Brazil is among the ten largest trading partners of Belarus, and in 2022 bilateral trade exceeded 358 million dollars.
During the first half of 2023, trade between the two countries already reached 393.4 million dollars.
