During a meeting held at the headquarters of the Syrian Executive, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in various fields, particularly in the economic and energy fields, and stressed the need to redouble efforts to raise it to the highest level.

They also discussed the practical actions taken to implement the agreements reached during the recent visit of the Persian leader to Syria, in addition to the role of the two countries and their efforts to achieve stability in the region.

The head of government considered that Damascus and Tehran face the same challenges, like terrorism or the unjust blockade, and urged to raise the levels of coordination and joint action to confront the unilateral coercive measures imposed on the two peoples.
