The Brazilian Neymar also wants to leave PSG

Paris, Aug 7 (Prensa Latina) The news with the flavor of a soccer soap opera related to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) does not stop, as it emerged today that Brazilian star attacker Neymar also wants to leave the French club.

According to the newspaper L’Équipe, the 31-year-old player with a contract until 2027 informed the management of the Ligue 1 champions yesterday of his interest in leaving the City of Light this summer, in a transfer market that will close on September 1st.

Ney missed a good part of last season due to an ankle injury, and facing the start this weekend raised many doubts, however, he showed a great level at the end of the Asian preparation tour, marking Thursday in South Korea against Jeonbuk Motors a brace and an assistance of 3-0 win.

The newspaper that reported the news about the Brazilian’s request to the PSG president, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, specified that the footballer wants to leave Paris as soon as possible and prefers not to debut on Saturday in the 2023-2024 campaign against Lorient at the Parque de les Princes.

A new headache for Al-Khelaïfi, who is dealing with the case of the club’s figure, star Kylian Mbappé, determined not to renew with the red and blue team, which would allow him to leave next year free (for free), presumably towards the real Madrid.

Neymar’s eventual fate is already sparking various stories, as he is credited with the dream of returning to Barcelona, something very unlikely due to financial issues, while some media mention astronomical offers from Saudi Arabia.

PSG’s situation tends to evolve towards the total disappearance of the magic trident that surprised the world, Lionel Messi (already at Inter Miami)-Mbappé-Neymar, a trio that actually failed in the last two seasons in the search for the desired “orejona” cup of the Champions League, absent in the display cases of the Park of Prínces.
