Local activists, quoted by the national agency SANA, reported that the American forces, together with armed members of the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), a militia equipped, financed and trained by Washington, surrounded and assaulted the locality of Al-Daman, in the province of Deir Ezzor, located some 450 kilometers northeast of Damascus, the capital.

They carried out an airborne commando action in which they kidnapped a resident after opening intensive fire with their weapons arbitrarily on the locals’ houses and agricultural lands, the activists detailed. They revealed that the arrested person was sent to Washington’s illegally occupied oil and gas fields.

U.S. frequently carry out such actions under the pretext of arresting members of the Daesh terrorist group, however, local authorities and activists refute the U.S. Army’s announcement and claim that the victims of their actions are civilians.
