Barbie podría superar también a las películas más taquilleras codirigidas por mujeres, que son Frozen: El reino del hielo y Frozen 2 (dirigidas por Jennifer Lee y Chris Buck) y Capitana Marvel (dirigida por Anna Boden y Ryan Fleck), según especialistas.
