A statement published by local media said that the defense forces destroyed ten Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles that tried to attack the territory of the Russian Republic of Crimea. Three other drones were suppressed by electronic warfare means.
The Russian Defense Ministry noted that no casualties or damage were reported due to the foiled attack on the peninsula.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry informed that on July 30, Ukraine tried to attack Crimean facilities with 25 drones, 16 of which were destroyed by air defense systems, and nine others were suppressed by electronic warfare equipment.
