Recording no deaths, the road collapsed and the large ditch blocked the transit of pedestrians and vehicles since Wednesday evening, as well as slowed down the exchange of goods between the national ports of one coast and the other.

The National Coordinator for the Reduction of Disasters (CONRED) and the Executive Unit of Road Conservation (COVIAL) closed the passage in both directions and the dimension of the problem will depend on the lasting of the repair work, as well as on the emergency measures.
