According to the source, a group protesting against the Eritrean Government broke into the cultural festival in Stockholm and confronted the participants.
The protesters used sticks and stones as weapons and also threw them at the police officers, while setting vehicles on fire.
During the clashes, at least 52 people and three police officers were injured, the same source said, adding that hundreds of people were arrested.
The festival, which has been organized since the 1990s, has been criticized in recent years for allegedly supporting the Eritrean Government, according to Aftonbladet.
