According to Justice Minister Peter Hummelgaard, the increased border controls highlight the seriousness of the situation.
The government takes the current situation very seriously, and I note that authorities have come to the conclusion that it is necessary to intensify police efforts at the Danish borders for security reasons for a limited period, the Danish politician pointed out.
