Arab Parliament ratifies support to the Palestinian cause

Cairo, Aug 4 (Prensa Latina) The President of the Arab Parliament, Adel Al-Assoumi, affirmed today that the struggle of the Palestinian people is the main cause defended by the region while advocating for the solution of two states to end the conflict.

The official reiterated full support for the legitimate and inalienable rights of the inhabitants of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, recognized by the UN and the international community, according to a report by the official Egyptian news agency MENA.

Al-Assoumi cited among them the establishment of their independent state with its capital in the eastern part of the city of Jerusalem.

You are always present in the actions of the Arab Parliament, he said during a dialogue with the permanent representative of Palestine to the Arab League, Muhannad Al-Aklouk.

He also stressed the importance of uniting positions to highlight the Palestinian cause and present it in all regional and international forums.

For his part, Ambassador Al-Aklouk expressed his appreciation for the work and historical support of this regional body.
