In his speech before the Congress, the Secretary General of the Conference, the Egyptian politician Hamdin Sabahi, reiterated the support of all those present for the independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty of Syria and its people.

“Our meeting in Damascus is a message of respect and admiration for the heroic struggle of the Syrian people, army and leadership and their steadfastness during the imposed terrorist war,” Sabahi said.

The politician considered that the terrorism that hits Syria is aimed at breaking its will and undermining its prominent pan-Arabist role.

President Bashar Al-Assad addressed with the delegation to the Conference issues related to Arabism, belonging, identity, the role of Arab parties in light of growing challenges and Western intellectual invasion.

The head of State noted that belonging to pan-Arabism maintains a strong presence at the popular level, despite all the efforts that have been made in recent years to weaken it.

The members of the delegation stressed the need to work in the next stage to activate the role of popular parties and organizations in order to support the reconstruction of Syria and break all types of blockades imposed on it.

Pan-Arabism is a movement that promotes unity and relations between Arab countries.
