Ethiopia appreciates Azerbaijan’s cooperation in providing services

Addis Ababa, Aug 2 (Prensa Latina) The Ethiopian Government has expressed interest in learning from Azerbaijan's experience to promote its multifaceted reforms at the federal and regional levels, the Ethiopian News Agency reported on Wednesday.

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Mesganu Arga made this reflection during a meeting with Ulvi Mehdiyev, chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations.

Arga praised the Azerbaijani Government’s willingness to cooperate in public services. Mehdiyev, in turn, said that they would enhance cooperation in other areas of mutual interest, including development assistance, education, tourism, and cultural ties.

Ethiopia and Azerbaijan established diplomatic relations in 1992.

Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abiebie received the delegation headed by Mehdiyev on Tuesday and discussed ways to provide modern and efficient public services for the benefit of the local community.
