DPRK criticizes new political move by U.S.

Pyongyang, Aug 2 (Prensa Latina) The Korea Association for the Study of Human Rights (KASHR) criticized the appointment of Julie Turner as U.S. special envoy in charge of North Korea's human rights affairs.

In a statement, the AEDHC pointed out that Turner’s appointment to the post within the State Department was proposed by U.S. President Joe Biden and has already been approved by the U.S. Congress.

Turner gained a bad reputation due to his scheming campaign against the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on human rights issues.

The Korean association noted that Turner should be aware that she was actually selected as a political handmaiden for the anti-Korean pressure scandal presented by the Biden administration, which is in a tight spot in the Korea-U.S. nuclear confrontation.
