According to officials, the exact number of people who could still be under the metal debris is still unclear.

Six other workers are feared to be trapped inside the collapsed structure, according to the National Disaster Response Force.

However, witnesses to the event told reporters that at least 30 people were working at the site when the accident occurred.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the loss of lives and instructed to compensate the families of the fatalities and injured.
