Bolivia police work 24/7 to track down wanted drug dealer

La Paz, Aug 1 (Prensa Latina) Special forces of the Bolivian Police reinforced on Tuesday main roads of Cochabamba and other routes as part of the growing search for the Uruguayan drug dealer Sebastian Enrique Marset.

“The Departmental Command of Cochabamba is in confrontation, we have officers in different control checkpoints, both exits to the east by Sacaba and the High Valley,” the Departmental Commander Colonel Rene Rios said.

According to Rene Rios, there is a strict control in highways and checkpoints of the Cochabamba Department in search of “the Capo” Marset, who is fleeing with his wife and three children.

On Monday, Alvaro Alvarez, commander of the Bolivian police, said troops are currently operating in such a way that they are confident to find such criminal in coming days, and perhaps hours. Marset is also wanted in Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay, countries where he has used faked IDs.

The investigations have revealed Marset entered Bolivia in September 2022. Since then, he settled in a Santa Cruz mansion by using a fake ID.
