The foreign minister said on his Twitter account that the celebrations were marked by the certainty that it is possible to creatively resist the blockade imposed by the United States on the island.

Several U.S. cities and other parts of the world reported expressions of support for Cuba and condemnation of the continuous imperialism aggressions. In a salute to the 70th anniversary of the attacks on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes garrisons (1953), the activists ratified their support to the Revolution and demanded the end of the unilateral measures imposed for more than six decades.
