He said that so far there are eight raids of properties in this jurisdiction, which seized marijuana, 31 vehicles, 17 weapons of war caliber, 28 magazines of different types of weapons and bulletproof vests.
Identified as “a high-value drug trafficker”, Marset Cabrera is wanted in Uruguay, Brazil and Paraguay, as well as by the international agencies Europol, DEA and Interpol, it was reported. So far, Bolivian law enforcement agencies have not located the fugitive, who is hiding with his wife and three children.
Del Castillo explained that the raids included two properties, four condominiums, a villa and a laundry, in which weapons, marijuana, vehicles and various documents were found.
The minister reiterated that the seized arsenal included 17 rifles, a pistol, 1,915 rounds of ammunition; 28 magazines for weapons of different calibers and four bulletproof vests. Likewise, a motorcycle, 31 vehicles, four quadratics and a Terix, among other means.
“Investigations continue, faithfully demonstrating our commitment in the fight against this illicit. Our management in the fight against drug trafficking is constant and firm”, said the head of the Ministry of Government.
According to the investigations, Marset Cabrera entered Bolivia in September 2022 and has false nationalities of Paraguay, Uruguay, Brazil and even Bolivia.
