According to MINSAP’s latest report, 47 peoplewere hospitalized, 23 of the were reorted as suspected cases and 24 confirmed as active cases. All patients have shown a stable clinical progress.
Since the beginning of the pandemic (March 2020), Cuba has carried out as many as 14,381, 191 tests, of which 1,115,060 have come back positive.
Out of total infection toll, two were contacts of already confirmed cases and two others with no source of infection specified yet.
MINSAP’s report detailed all those coronavirus-infected patients were under 20 years of age.
To date, Cuba has reached 8,530 deaths, for a 0.76% lethality rate compared to 1% worldwide and 1.53% in the Americas.
