In a brief but warm greeting to the Cuban people, Chaman Lal -honorary advisor of the Bhagat Singh Archives and Resource Centre in Delhi- told Prensa Latina his solidarity with Cuba in its struggle against the economic, commercial and financial war Washington has been imposing for over 60 years.

I avail myself of this opportunity to extend my greetings and solidarity to the Cuban people, and I oppose the US blockade imposed for over 60 years,” Chaman Lal stated, while reaffirming his warm greetings to the Cuban people on the occasion of Cuba´s National Rebellion Day.

Lal recalled the significance of July 26, as a group of young people – led by Fidel Castro- attacked the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks in pursuit of a popular insurrection against dictator Fulgencio Batista.
